Klere's Nature Impact Metric incorporates peer-reviewed assumptions to calculate the ‘nature cost’ of business activities (extending the UK Government's Defra Statutory Biodiversity Metric)

We begin with your expense data for stage 1 screening. We can then drill down with more specific data, once priorities are assessed. Using a foot printing approach similar to carbon accounting, the tool provides actionable insights into biodiversity impacts across Scope 1 (direct land use), Scope 2, and Scope 3 (supply chain land use).

Expressed in 'Biodiversity Units equivalent,' (BUe) it provides a tangible and comparable value for biodiversity impact.

In addition to BUe, our metric can produce a Potential Disappeared Fraction (PDF), analysing the nature pressures of business activity, giving you an even bigger picture- all from our offices.
